Meet the Crew

Sam has called Phillip Island home for more than fifteen years, and these days you'll find him building cabins right there in his own yard. He grew up on a country farm and went to school at Yea High School, so working with his hands and building things properly has never been separate from how he lives — it's just what he's always done.

Outside of The Cabin Crew, Sam runs an established arborist business, and that background shows up in the way every cabin is built: practical, solid, and made to handle whatever the outdoors throws at it. Years spent working with timber and understanding structure translate directly into cabins built to last.

Sam is also a dad to four — Eli, Dominic, Maya, and Solomon — and Phillip Island is where he's raised his family and put down roots in the community. Sam likes to stay hands-on with every part of the process — he's always happy to jump on a call, talk through your space over video, or just have a straightforward conversation about what you actually need.
